Ford launched the 2023 Ford EcoSport, a new compact SUV that aims to beat the competition. The Ford EcoSport offers drivers a perfect combination of power at an affordable price. Since its launch, more than 770,000 units of this compact SUV have been sold. For this second generation, Ford engineers and designers from more than 16 countries have worked together to develop the new EcoSport.

The Ford EcoSport is 4.09 metres long, 1.76 metres wide and 1.65 metres tall. The Ford EcoSport's rivals, in terms of size and the segment in which it competes, include SUVs such as the Kia Stonic and Hyundai Kona. The current Ford EcoSport is Ford's third SUV, following the larger, premium Ford Kuga and Ford Edge.

Ford EcoSport design

The Ford EcoSport has a sleek and practical design, with a short bonnet, tight front pillars and a five-piece chrome front grille. Angular headlamps along with an LED daytime running light strip complete the styling package.

Available with 17-inch alloy wheels, silver roof rails, and fog lamps with chrome accents. The spare wheel, anchored above the tailgate, ensures that the Ford EcoSport's load capacity is not compromised and can compete with similar mid-size vehicles.
The boot capacity of the Ford EcoSport is 334 litres. If the rear seatback is folded down, the Ford EcoSport's boot capacity increases to 1.238 litres.

Interior

Inside, the Ford EcoSport also offers a comfortable driving position thanks to the fully adjustable driver's seat height and steering wheel. Also worth noting are the storage compartments inside the cabin of this Ford SUV, including a space for 1.5-litre bottles in the side door wells. There's also a pull-out drawer under the front passenger seat and a refrigerated glovebox that can hold up to six cans of drinks.

Ford EcoSport technology and equipment

The Ford EcoSport is also equipped with Ford Sync 3, the voice command connectivity system. As well as Ford Sync AppLink functionality. This connectivity system, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, gives drivers voice control of their smartphone apps, including the Spotify music streaming service.
